Doctor Betzi Mathew
Dr. Betzi Mathew has been with Cedar Park Pediatric and Family Medicine since 2008. She is a board certified pediatrician and feels deeply fortunate to have a role in fostering long term relationships with families in our community. It is a true privilege to help nurture a child’s health and well being through preventative care.
Dr. Mathew grew up in the Houston area. She attended the University of Texas at Austin where she received the Presidential Scholar award in Microbiology and conducted research at UTMB in Galveston during her undergraduate studies.
She attended Baylor College of Medicine for medical school and then completed her pediatric residency training at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston.
Dr. Mathew lives in Austin with her husband, Tony and has two daughters, Rekha and Anjali. She loves going for hikes in the greenbelt with her dog, Luna. Dr. Mathew’s favorite activities include cooking, checking out new restaurants, travel and curling up with a good book.
She has been practicing in Austin since 2003 and brings years of experience caring for children and families in the community.
