Erin Newman

Erin Newman, PPCNP-BC

Erin Newman is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who earned her Master’s degree in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing in 1993. She has practiced in a variety of primary care settings and previously served as a nursing instructor at the University of Kentucky.

As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Erin is passionate about caring for children and adolescents. She often uses play during visits to help younger patients feel comfortable and engaged. She values listening closely to families and works to support them in a thoughtful, whole-family approach.

Outside of the clinic, her most important role is being a wife and mother. She has been married for more than 30 years and is the proud mother of four boys, including a set of twins. In her free time, she enjoys reading, walking her two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, and traveling with her husband.

As a PNP, she is passionate about caring for children and adolescents. She enjoys using play during her visits in order to put small children at ease and make it a more enjoyable experience. She strives to listen, support and empower families in a holistic manner to meet all the needs of its members.
