Dr. Avni Shah

Dr. Avni Shah was born and raised in Chicago, IL.  She graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a BS in Biology and minor in Psychology.  She completed her medical school at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and her pediatrics residency at Loyola University where she was given a Magis Star for going above and beyond with regard to patient advocacy.  Dr. Shah is also certified with the American Board of Obesity Medicine has a special interest in obesity management in children.
Over the years, she visited Austin several times and eventually moved here in 2013 with her husband. She now has 2 little girls and loves living in Austin, TX.  She enjoys spending time with her kids, watching good movies and trying new restaurants.
