Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
Evaluation & Medication Management
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder impacts approximately 1 in 10 children. At our office, we’re dedicated to addressing the needs of children and families affected by ADHD to the fullest extent possible. Our doctors are comfortable in conducting initial evaluations and initiating treatment as necessary, without referring to a neurologist or psychiatrist. ADHD is diagnosed clinically, as there are no specific “tests” for confirmation. We gather input from parents and teachers, along with a comprehensive history; if a diagnosis is established, we carefully weigh the potential benefits of medical intervention. Regardless of whether medical treatment is pursued, our approach focuses on behavioral intervention, academic and emotional supports.
