Dr. Brent Cardwell, MD
Dr. Cardwell, a Kansas native, earned his B.S. in Microbiology and Chemistry from Kansas State University and his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, where he received top honors in Neonatology. He completed his pediatric residency at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville, TN. He and his wife, Dr. Jennifer Cardwell, also a pediatrician, have lived in Austin since 2001 with their two daughters.
Board-certified in pediatrics, Dr. Cardwell specializes in asthma and ADD/ADHD management. He serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor for Dell Medical School and is actively involved in shaping pediatric education. He holds many community leadership roles, including Chair of the Pediatric Council and CEO of Austin Health Partners.
